Welcome Back!
We hope everyone had a wonderful summer filled with family, friends and fun. We are looking forward to an exciting new year that we hope you and your children will find both fun and educational.
As with any school, the heart and soul of a parent/teacher organization is the volunteers. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make last year the success that it was. Our children benefited greatly because of all the time and hard work their parents gave to their school. We sincerely hope that this year we are as fortunate to have so many wonderful parents participate.
Our PTO meetings will be held monthly and will start promptly at 7:00 pm. In order to give more parents the opportunity to come to these meetings, they will be held on different nights of the week, so be sure to check you school calendar every month. Please take the time to attend some of these meetings. They provide a wonderful opportunity to share your thoughts, ideas and concerns as well as keeping you informed as to what is happening both in your school and the district.
We have many other wonderful events planned for the upcoming year. We have our annual Rock and Roll-a-thon and Variety Show and we are excited to be having another Vendor Night which will be later this fall. The PTO is “going green” so keep an eye out for emails which will help to keep you informed
Our goal is to provide our children with a safe and nurturing environment where their educational, social and emotional needs are met and exceeded as well as instilling a “school is fun” foundation. We hope that you consider volunteering this year to help achieve these goals.
