The Tinc Road PTO for the 2011/2012 school year would like to wish our faculty & teachers, as well as our students & parents, a successful year!  Our goal is to continue to provide Tinc Road with quality programs and services, such as Cultural Arts (programs that enhance our school curriculum), Homework Planners for our students, and Student Directories for all of our families.   We are looking forward to our Fall Family Festival, on Saturday, October 1st, from 2-5 pm, and invite all of our Tinc Road families to join us in all the fun!  It’s a wonderful time for students to share their school with their families and enjoy the many wonderful activities we provide.  We will also have our Holiday Shop in the winter, giving our students the opportunity to be a part of the gift giving season, with the convenience of shopping right at school.  Then, in the spring, the students will come together again to express and showcase their creativity & talent in the very entertaining and popular Variety Show.    In order to be able to continue to provide our school with the above mentioned programs and services, we will need the help of all of our families.  We will continue with some of our more popular fundraisers such as the KidStuff coupon book sale this fall, and our Rock and Rollathon in the winter.  We will also be continuing with our ShopRite fundraiser this year, and hope all of our families can participate.  Families can buy gift cards, through our school, and use them to pay for the food they buy.  For every $1 spent, Tinc Road will receive 5 cents (or $5 for every $100!).  We hope that everyone continues to support this fundraiser, as we did very well with it last year.  There will be other fundraisers throughout the year, and of course our parents will have a choice to participate in any, or all of them.  A family may also “opt out” of any fundraising and make a one-time cash donation, of any amount they feel comfortable with.  Please remember, whether it’s donating your time, or donating money, that no amount is too little, and every bit helps.   Each of us makes a difference in the life of every student at Tinc Road, and we all, (faculty & teachers, students & parents), do our part, every day, to make Tinc an exceptional school, which produces extraordinary students!  Our kids work very hard.
