Subject: Security

 

Dear Parents/Guardians,

 

As a nation we have become more attuned to the security needs of our school.  While education remains a priority for Mount Olive Midde School and the Mount Olive Township School District, we continually review, refine and improve our efforts to maintain the type of safe school that we expect and that you, the student, deserves.

 

In a continuing effort to best safeguard your children and our entire staff; the Mount Olive Board of Education retrofitted our school's entry doors with a "Buzz-In Security System".  Although this procedure may be a bit more cumbersome for visitors, it will greatly increase our ability to monitor who is allowed access to the halls and rooms occupied by your children.  This is the same type of system currently in use at the elementary schools.  You may already be familiar with this type of system.

 

As with all changes, it may take us a short while to perfect our system.  It is our hope that you will bear with us as we work with this added security measure to protect our most valued possessions, children.
